HR Director London Lunches
Talent Focus Executive Search is hosting HR Director Lunches in London during September and October 2016.
For our September event are delighted to have David Pepper, Ex People Director La Tasca Restaurants, as our guest speaker. David will give a brief overview of his 5 years with La Tasca where he was part of the management team that took the business from a CVA to a sale in September 2015 – providing equity realisation for all investors. People were key to the turnaround of the business and David will introduce us to the ‘Circle of People Investment’ and how he developed the ‘HOLA’ culture. Prior to La Tasca David worked with Grand Metropolitan PLC, Whitbread PLC and the National Skills Academy for Hospitality as well as running his own consultancy and training business.
In October we have Joe Kay as our guest speaker. Joe served as an army officer leading infantry, aviation and engineering teams in Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan with both the British and US armies. He left to start Enswarm, a software business which improves team performance in groups of people while they are actually conducting day to day work. Enswarm achieves this using “team enhancing technology” to remove human bias, office politics and groupthink from team processes. Their initial focus is to use their Decision tool to allow groups of people to make the best possible choices faster when recruiting, particularly when used in assessment centres.
