Conference & Events Business Development Manager (Greater London)

Our client is seeking a high calibre Conferences & Events Business Development Manager, responsible for proactively generating new business opportunities for their 1000+ seat venue. Based in or around London, the responsibilities of this role will include:

· Implement defined key sales actions through the venue's Revenue, Sales and Marketing (RSM) plan.

· Set and implement objectives to effectively contribute to the company's overall strategy to achieve business goals.

· Identify and manage key Conferences and Events accounts, achieving growth targets.

· Prospect and convert new business from key segments, achieving ambitious new business targets.

· Identify and proactively represent the venue at industry events across the UK and build networking opportunities to raise the venue's profile.

· Compile and prepare sales data for monthly reports.

· Utilise MI reports to ensure comprehensive competitor knowledge and target sales actions to grow market share.

· Actively promote the venue in a professional manner, both internally and externally, ensuring all business opportunities are maximised.

· Participate in quarterly sales meetings and reviews as scheduled.
