HR Operations Manager (Central Belt, Scotland)

To enable just to achieve this and their strategic aims, we are seeking an Operations Manager to support the business.

Job Purpose
Reporting directly to the Director and part of the Business Planning Team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of all company activities including liaison with new and existing clients, project managing the delivery of business activities, and ensuring the Associate capacity is sufficient to deliver the different areas of the business.

Using your HR and business knowledge and experience you will be expected to contribute to the growth and development of the business, including inputting to the business planning process, KPI reporting and financial forecasting.

In respect of project management, you will be responsible for the relevant areas of a newly implemented CRM system, ensuring this is up to date and accessible to all Associates as appropriate.  Your contribution to innovative and new ways of working will also be expected.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Director in the planning and delivery of core business services (Complex Investigations, Organisational Design and Improving Organisational Performance) and provide capability and expertise as required in all areas.
  • Liaise with Business Development and Business Support to ensure the delivery of services meets business objectives and KPI expectations.
  • Liaise with Associates quarterly to ensure organisation has capacity and capability to deliver business objectives.
  • Provide project management support to Commissioning Managers and Lead Associates during service delivery. This may be undertaken by this post directly or with support from an Associate who undertakes day to day contact with the Associates.  
  • Provide high level advice and guidance to commissioning managers within the boundaries of terms of reference.
  • Provide advice and support to the Associates where the project is complex or where they are new to the business.
  • Develop, were appropriate a Trusted Friend relationship/approach with commissioning managers, CEO’s and senior staff
  • Keep up to date with employment law as it impacts on the work undertaken as well as new ways of delivering services.
  • As part of the Business Planning Team contribute to the compilation and review of data, decision making and action planning to ensure the business remains viable and sustainable.
  • Provide induction and ongoing support on project management methodology and system to support to Associates, ensuring they understand the project TORs, risk, timescales and investment of a given project.
  • Support Associates learning and development and provide support with tools, tasks or processes that support a project or service delivery.
  • Participate in selection of Associates into key areas of the business.
  • Liaise with the Director at all times should a risk be identified.
