Conflicts Analyst (New York City)
About the Role
We are seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join a collaborative and fast-paced Conflicts & Business Intake team within a leading law firm. In this role, you will play an essential part in ensuring the firm maintains compliance with professional and ethical standards. You will review conflict-of-interest inquiries, conduct research, maintain accurate records, and support attorneys and internal stakeholders across the organization.
This position offers strong visibility across firm leadership, meaningful responsibility, and the ability to make an impact on firm governance and risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze conflict reports using Intapp Conflicts or similar conflicts software

Conduct corporate and factual research to identify potential conflicts of interest

Maintain and update conflicts databases, corporate family trees, and related records

Communicate conflict findings to attorneys and internal committees following firm procedures

Support the new matter intake and waiver process

Handle research requests and assist with ongoing compliance-related projects

Work closely with attorneys, the Conflicts & Business Intake Manager, and wider Risk & Ethics teams
Qualifications

1+ year of conflicts or legal support experience in a law firm setting required

Familiarity with Intapp Conflicts or other conflicts review software strongly preferred

Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential information

Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; comfort learning new systems
Work Environment & Schedule

Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 remote in the New York office

Fast-paced environment with the opportunity for overtime compensation
Compensation

Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
