Overview
Our client’s market leading software is at the heart of the worlds fastest growing and most successful Internet of Things solutions. The role is to lead business development in the UK corporate real estate market for this technology platform.
 
You will be working with landowners, property developers, designers, specifiers, engineers and consultants in the commercial real estate sector. Success in the role will be achieved through increasing the adoption and specification of the platform in these sectors as well as successful development of key channel partnerships and a quality supply chain for the technology.
 
Responsibilities
·        Setting business development objectives and developing strategies that support the company’s growth ambition and targets
·        Generating leads through networking and building relationships that promote the platform with key influencers in the supply chains in the target sectors
·        Identifying key channel partners and establishing commercial relationships with them
·        Managing and supporting existing partnerships and commercial relationships in the UK
·        Planning forecasts and sales implementation plans
·        Attending industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities to grow the contact base
·        Working closely with the marketing team to identify communications needs in support of the business development plans
·        Supporting quotations and bids by partners
 
Requirements
The ideal candidate for Business Development Manager will be passionate about the benefits that true Internet of Things implementation can bring to make buildings better for the developers, owners and occupants. They will have existing relationships in the building automation or related industries.
